Coffee-flavored beer, or beer-like coffee?

Nestle has filed patent applications all over the world for a new invention of theirs that is basically a cross between beer and coffee. It's a fermented coffee drink that foams and pours like beer, but has a strong coffee taste, the classic rich coffee aroma, and a caffeine kick - but no alcohol.
Personally, I don't like coffee so it sounds gross to me, but you coffee lovers out there might like to read more...

They can't possibly award this patent. The product has been on tv for years on the Drew Carey show, known as Buzz Beer. Talk about prior art.

I'd forgotten about that. Maybe they're patenting the production method or something.
I had no idea there actually were caffeinated beers! None of them are coffee flavored though...
