Day 5 of the Atkins Diet
263.4: -3.7 pounds
Sorry I forgot to blog yesterday, I was at 263.7 pounds.
I always weigh myself in the morning - after I get up and go to the bathroom, and right before I get into the shower. I don't want things like clothing or breakfast to mess up my consistency. It's silly to weigh every day anyway, but during this phase of the Atkins Diet, it's fun because you do actually lose weight every day. After 4 days, I've lost 3.7 pounds. I'll need to exercise a LOT more vigorously if I'm to lose 20 pounds in 3 weeks. It can be done!
I may give myself 4 weeks, but that would take my right up to Christmas, and I can hardly be expected to diet on christmas eve. Plus, I've got a departmental holiday luncheon to attend (I might be okay for that), and then the University Development Christmas Party which will be at Maggiano's again this year. No way am I low carbing for THAT!
The holidays are a hard time to lose weight - but especially right aorund christmas and new years, so I got started right after Thanksgiving!
BTW, thank god it's Friday.
