Bill Richardson to talk about Iraq tonight
I'm not a huge fan of MoveOn.org. I may be a liberal, but I don't like the wacko-liberals, and I think MoveOn.org is a bit radical left for my tastes.
That doesn't mean they don't do some good things, and one of those good things is hosting a national "town hall" meeting with Governor Bill Richardson tonight about the Iraq War.
You can attend a local MoveOn.org event in your area tonight, just use the following link to find one.

Here's the full text of the email I got today from the Richardson Campaign.
Dear Rick,
Tonight, Tuesday, April 10th, MoveOn.org is hosting virtual TownHall events all over the country to discuss Presidential candidates' views on the Iraq war. Governor Richardson's portion, taped before he left for North Korea, will discuss his "New Realism" plan to end the war in Iraq. You can hear Governor Richardson online and broadcast at Air America Radio tonight. Could you go to a local MoveOn event to talk to people about the Governor's straightforward plan to end the war?
RSVP for an MoveOn Event in Your Area.
Governor Richardson believes that we should pull our troops out of Iraq this year, and leave no residual forces behind. Some of the TownHall attendees may not know about the Governor's positions, or his impressive record of accomplishment and experience. We need you at your local event to discuss the Governor's positions with other TownHall attendees. Talking to people face-to-face is the most powerful way we can spread the word.
Governor Richardson's plan to end the war is available online - it might be helpful for you to print out copies to take to the event. If you can make it tonight, we'd love to hear about it - leave your comments for us here and we'll put some up on the blog tomorrow.
Thank you for the help. I hope you enjoy the event.
Sincerely,
Dave Contarino
Campaign Manager
Richardson for President
